Dayton, Judge A. G. (1857-1920)
Possibly Alston Gordon Dayton. A native of West Virginia, Dayton was a prosecuting attorney there until he was elected to the House of Representatives in 1895. He served in Congress until his appointment in 1905 as a U.S. judge for the Northern District of West Virginia. On February 14, 1916

as the judge presiding over The Woman Rebel
