Reynolds, Paul Revere (1864-1944)

Literary agent. Married Amelia F. D. Stead (1899), three children. A grandson of Paul Revere, Reynolds became a well-known literary agent. Agent for Cassell & Co. of London and William Heineman, Constable & Co. Founded Paul Reynolds and Son, which represented both American and British authors including Stephen Crane, George Bernard Shaw, Arnold Bennett and Leo Tolstoy. Sanger recommended Reynolds to Marie Stopes as the agent to handle Stopes' Married Love.
