He "Just Recd" NG's letter of this date [not found]. Will know in the evening how much flour is "now Ready" at the "Lower mills." Expects to keep at least a ten-day supply of meat on hand; has sent "a Drove" of the best cattle "to the magizen." Will spare no effort "to make nessary provision for the army." From his knowledge of the country and that of his drovers, he can collect "the nessary Suplys on a march" at "Short notice."
