To Captain John Lop.[1]

"The Army is collecting at this place." It needs a "three or four days" supply of provisions and twenty or thirty loads of forage, which Lop should obtain and transport to camp, "as the Army have no spare waggons" and must be "in constant readiness to move."
Autograph Draft Signed (MiU-C) 2 pp.
[1.] In the docketing, Lop was listed as the commissioner for Rowan County, N.C.
