Colo Lee Informed you Yesterday per Express of our Little Success on Georgetown, which coud not be greater without artillery.
Colo Watson Left his post Last Wednesday Leaving forty men, which is on a very Steep hill, picquetted & double abattis. Colo Watson is gone to Camden. Colo Lee is with me & we are going Against the post at Wrights Bluff.
We made an Attempt to Cross Santee to [burn?] Some Stores at Colo Thompson, but the river is so high that it was Impracticable.
