You will march your troops immediately and join us as early as possible. We shall be somewhere between this and the Shallow Ford on the Yadkin. Let me beg you to bring as much provision as possible and to communicate these orders to every Officer who has collected or may be collecting their Militia.
Our force must be assembled as soon as possible to attack Lord Cornwallis. I have wrote Colonels Campbell & Shelby and hope they are on their march. I am
