By recent intelligence I am informed the Enemy are on their march towards Gilford Court House at which place I expect they will be at & from particular circumstances I am lead to beleive that this Army is their principal object. It will become necessary for you to hurry your march, & follow me with all possible expedition over Haw River Bridge, & join the main Army. I am sir with great esteem
